【Do Not Linger or Approach the Rear of a Horse】
Horses have limited vision with prominent blind spots behind their bodies. As prey animals, they will trigger an instinctive defensive reaction when sensing threatening movements or noises, which may lead to serious injury.
This rule is especially critical for family and child riders, one of the most popular experiences on the Hulunbuir grasslands. When children first ride a horse, they may fidget restlessly or even attempt to jump off suddenly, whether out of excitement for the vast grassland scenery or when encountering unexpected situations. As parents and our professional riding instructors, you must remind children to stay calm at all times, and never perform dangerous actions while mounted.
【Never Shout Loudly While on Horseback】
Shouting loudly while a horse is running across the grasslands can lead to two extremely dangerous outcomes:
1. The horse may interpret your shouting as excitement, and will gallop even faster across the open grassland, a speed that beginner riders cannot safely control.
2. The horse may be severely startled by your yelling, which can cause unpredictable, catastrophic consequences.
This is a non-negotiable safety rule for children learning to ride on the grasslands. In many cases, children will shout to release their fear when the horse moves faster, so parents and our on-site instructors will always monitor and guide young riders to ensure a safe experience.
